Sister's Guide to Sustainability is a LLC aimed at empowering businesses, non-profits, institutes of higher education and municipalities and individuals to address resilience, carbon neutrality, watershed health, vitality , regeneration and triple bottom line thinking ( i.e., eudaemonia, environment, and economics) .
Sister's Guide 2 Sustainability
Sister's Guide 2 Sustainability (S2S) is a LLC centered on collaboration and empowerment. Our core values are excellence, empowerment, integrity and collaboration. The Sister Team is available for keynote speaking, LEED and Well Building auditing, facilitating workshops, on-line seminars and developing and teaching corporate training courses that:

• Enable government and industry leaders to develop advance climate change solutions and sustainability;

• Advance equity, inclusion and diversity initiatives;​

• Evaluate and implement measurable actions to meet internal and external goals (i.e., UN Sustainable Development Goals)
Additionally, this website provides guidance documents addressing the key areas to achieve carbon neutrality, net zero goals and regeneration principles. The Policy pages are organized with sample goals, prioritized short and long term actions, and presentations. The engagement page lists case studies of diverse approaches to drive sustainability changes. The legal references page list ordinances, resolutions, codes and City Council packet preparation material. The technical page provides sample plans for educational facilities or local governments.

Founder
Dr. Rosemarie Russo - Sustainability and Innovation Director /Environmental Law and Sustainability Professor
Rosemarie is accomplished Executive Officer with expertise in spearheading large sustainability projects from conception to execution, including visionary planning, securing significant funding, and garnering local, state and national support. She is a certified Comprehensive Science teacher, Well AP, LEED GA, and ISO 14,000 Advisor. She published her first book “Jumping from the Ivory Tower: Creating Sustainable Communities through Service-Learning” in 2009. Dr Rosemarie Russo has taught Global Environmental Change, Sustainability for Business and Municipalities at UC - Boulder and Community Development, Environmental Policy, and Oceanography at Thomas Edison State University since 1999. She has been a professor, Environmental Chair and Dean for Athletics, Biological and Oceanography at Diablo Valley College and corporate trainer for two business programs: Climate Wise and Green to Gold.

She earned a BS in Environmental Science from Rutgers University, an environmental law degree from Vermont Law School and a doctoral degree in Environmental Leadership.

She has served as a Sustainability Director and Innovation Manger for two cities: Moab, UT and Fort Collins, CO that are known internationally as “green” leaders. She has worked as an environmental law consultant on Superfund sites. Rosemarie was named the National Geographic’s Sustainability Scholar and recently was recipient of a Utah Team Solar Energy Innovation Network Award to accelerate the adoption of renewable energy. In past years, Rosemarie has been recognized as Educator of the Year, Women of Distinction, Larimer County, Office Depot National Leadership in Greener Purchasing Award, Robert Havlick Award for Innovation in Local Government, and Department of Energy Award for Electric Vehicle Deployment.
